101 Sneaky Weight Loss Tips

…that actually work!

I was working on something like this a few years back.  I started working on it again last fall and to be honest it just got pushed aside.  I am almost glad to say it got put off simply for the fact that my friend Jeff Anderson got it done and by done I mean done right.  Just look at the information package he is putting out there for us to critique and criticise… and I just can’t fault the information at all.

TRICK #5: Drink your coffee. Not many people know that coffee actually provides more antioxidants to the American diet than any other food or beverage. That doesn’t mean you should hook up an intravenous drip of caffeine throughout the day (you shouldn’t have any more than 500 milligrams a day) but just know that coffee in moderation not only provides a pick-me-up, but is also helping you to burn more fat and increase your lifespan. For best results without the added calories, drink it black. But here are some other coffee tricks to help you lose more weight…

TRICK #1: Drink ice water. Yes, you know that you need to drink about 8 glasses of water per day for your body to burn fat and flush toxins out of your system. TRICK #10: If you drink alcohol, opt for dry red wine. Dry red wine is better than your sweet wines, because sweet wines have more sugar!     The only one I could really see myself doing is chewing gum in between meals. However, I’m always looking for different ideas and methods when it comes to weight loss, nutrition and fitness so I think it’ll make an interesting read.

    Quick will never be safe. I can help if you want safe, but it does include supplements.

      Andy, I had to approve your comment. I am sure you can help, but to be honest I don’t consider bariatric surgery safe (as your email and website indicate).

      Let’s consider the reality here. Most people need to diet first to fall into the safe parameters for surgery… that takes a good nutrition approach 4-12 weeks, then surgery, then 2-4 weeks recovery and reintroduction of full meals for another 4-12 weeks and then you are back to what many consider normal, but you are now at higher risk of heart burn, indigestion and many other problems, not to mention the risks involved in cutting open the body, the stomach and in some cases damaging organs.

      Quick? Maybe, its relative.

      Safe? There is no way surgery is safer than good diet and exercise and the potential use as we both agree supplements.

      I don’t mean to bash on you my friend, but surgery is the last option of many. Always the last option.

      Now think about 4-12 weeks of a good Personalized Nutrition Program, with a strategy and add in 101 tips… well in 84-101 days you will be in great shape.     Great article, thank you. I am very interested in finding a diet that lowers my sugar intake. I currently have a sweet-tooth, and am finding it difficult to find meal plans, what to eat for snacks, etc. While diabetes is not something that runs in my family, I am still concerned and would like to be smart and take a proactive approach to my health.

    Just had a question about the tip on drinking beer for fat loss. I read somewhere that beer contains oestrogen so isn’t this detrimental to fat loss and muscle building?

      Robin, I have a challenge with recommending to drink beer, but IF you are to drink alcohol bitter beers are best. BUT in general, I have to say stay away from beers when trying to lose weight due to exact reason you commented “estrogenic” properties.

      DO keep alcohol for your “treat” meal once a week and always go with red wine as the best choice for spirits when dieting and only on the cheat/reward meal.
