    I have made up my mind and am going to take the plunge and get a personalised program as soon as I get back from my vacation! Having said that which plan would suit me for my goal situation? I decided I want to cut down to contest ready levels before I bulk up but I do not have much fat to lose as I believe I am already 9-10% bodyfat and would think it would only take 8 weeks at most and I want to bulk up as soon as I reach the bodyfat levels I desire could you advise on this? The company that sold me your dna swabbing and nutrition and workout program is no longer doing it so I’m hoping the follow up through you will be helpful.My husband and I paid $1800.00 and so far, basically, just got a diet book for it.I am still with the same trainer but she says they really didn’t get much nutrition training.

    I don’t see my original went through but as mentioned we bought the dna swabbing giving us the ultimate nutrition plan. I’ve been doing ok and lost 6lbs in wk one however nothing over the next 3 wks. I find the carb. portions quite high as I’m coming off the herbal magic way of eating. Some trainers believe I was starving my body and need more but I do need to lose 10-15 more pounds so I need to know where to cut. Is it the ratios of protein/carb/fat that is more important? If I want to lose do I cut all three? One trainer says to substitue from any carb list to get them in, but for me it seems strange to say swap a grain for a veggie. Also are we not concerned at all on glycemic index of foods? When I’m on the road it’s easy to drink the protein and eat fruit but is that not too much sugar?

      DNA nutrition is different than fat loss or muscle building nutrition. DNA nutrition is OPTIMAL Nutrition for an OPTIMAL life and body.

      I would start with this strategy. Cut 1 portion from each Macro Nutrient (Protein, Carb, Fat) equally. Follow that for 7 days and assess. At that point consider cutting 1 portion of each again. BUT just 1 portion of each for each week. It could just be calorie manipulation that is required.

      The other you mention is substitutions. Stick to equal products, fruits for fruits, veggies for veggies, grains for grains.

      The only way I ever recommend to change that carb swapping rule is swap out high glycemic carbs for low glycemic carbs as you get closer to your goals and need more insulin control and fat loss.

    I have my own weight loss product and I’m looking for some great looking/tasting/happy customer inspiring meal plans for my guys!

    I would like to stick to a “paleo friendly” type selection of foods, but some thing like cottage cheese, etc are fine — I’m no “extreme” paleo guy but that’s basically what I recommend.

I was wondering if it was possible to get like a 7-day diet where I had to repeat it every week with some foods of my choice (easily accessible and healthy).

      We DO over deliver on variety, but if you only have a desire for similar foods and meals, then you can slice it up and pick your favorite meals or get a Personalized Nutrition Program.

      You can use the sample meal plans and repeat just week 1 over and over again to save on the groceries and variety when shopping.

    I’ve seen that you have a “ultimate mass” and a “ultimate fat loss” but is there a “ultimate” that I can get really good gains in muscle without the fat? I am already really lean and want to keep that way while putting on as much mass as possible.

    • I can set you up with a modification of them both. Its like the ULTIMATE that I use for my OHL kids. They need to build muscle, bulk up a bit but not get fat and then be leaner with the new muscle in time for pre-season camp in the fall.

  27. Hey Jon, great to hear you are debating, contemplating and making sure that what you want is what you get.

    Rest assured with the right nutrition you will get exactly what you are after… RESULTS!

    Jon, if you want Lean Muscle you will get that with the Lean Muscle Builder. You can expect to gain 2-5 pounds of muscle each month without the fat gains. In fact you will lose fat and build muscle.

    If you just want to GROW, then the Macro MASS is for you.

    Either way with the requests you have here, you need a Personalized Nutrition Program.

    OK so point blank you can grow as a vegetarian, but it will be more difficult and expensive. On that note, I wonder do you eat fish as well as meat. We could go with 1 meat (meat or poultry) and 1 fish meal per day.

    To make it work I recommend protein and oats or cereal or toast or even just a straight up protein shake for breakfast.

    To keep it cheap we can work lunches to be wraps with tuna, salmon or deli meats. To keep on pace with keeping it inexpensive to grow I highly recommend buying a good vanilla whey protein (not really vegan, but clean non murderous dairy by product) to allow for 1-2 shakes per day and keep your cash in your jeans pockets.

    If you want to GROW then Macro MASS is the plan for you, but you will gain a few pounds of fat along the way.
