    The truth about weight loss is that, none of the quick fixes work for it. It starts with a firm determination that you want to lead a healthy and active lifestyle. Once you achieve that mindset, the rest of the journey becomes very easy. We first need to plan with a sound mind what our objectives in life are and why do we want to loose weight. Once we decide to do it, it helps a lot to read weight loss motivating articles.

      Dan, great question, and you are right, its about not looking for the quick fixes while being diligent in your quest for a lean body lifestyle.

      Most people confuse this and many supplement companies bank on that.

      When we refer to 14 grams or 21 grams of protein, in one of our Personalized Nutrition Programs or Meal Plans, we mean actual grams of protein not gross weight.

      This is also how you can tell a good protein from an inferior protein blended with other stuff. If a scoop is 18 grams gross weight and it has 14 grams protein, then it is almost 80% pure protein like in the case of Protein Smoothie.

      You will notice that our Protein Smoothie in fact even does the math with a simple scoop per serving portion so you don’t have to even think about it.

    I read all the books, but this one is great in keeping you out of the gray. You’ll find all your questions, and even ones you didn’t have, answered. I swear by the cleanse and everything it’s done for me. My first cleanse was 17 days and my second was 11. The book tells you everything to expect and explains the why’s to everything. I can’t begin to tell you how great I felt through most of the cleanse and after. I firmly believe that cleaning yourself out like this is really good for you and it really is not that hard to follow.

    I found the book to be extremely helpful in simplifying the process for the cleanse. Many times throughout my first cleanse, I referred to the book for answers to questions, or reassurance for any concerns. It is ALL in there! I also found the claims on the cover to be true. I felt better, MORE ENERGETIC, and healthier than I had in a long time. I will be starting my second cleanse soon, and I look forward to receiving the same benefits(and any others that may come)!

    For two weeks, I tried the entire plan of meals suggested by Empowered Meal Plans in their 1 week Sample.

    As it is a 1600 calories plan, I made some changes to suit my needs. I needed fewer calories, because I haven’t been able to exercise for some weeks, getting ready for my daughter’s wedding. I was surprised about how easy the plan is to follow and to cook: few ingredients but enough amounts to feel very satisfied; in fact, I ate more than usual. I used my favorite herbs and spices to enhance the flavors and organic Stevia for my shakes and sour-sweet meals, which didn’t change the calories intake. The fruits and vegetables are the kind that is low in sugar and carbs, but very rich in nutrients and fiber, which accelerate the metabolism to digest them, burning calories and fat at the same time.

    When I started the plan, I was weighting 140 pounds; at the end of those 2 weeks I weighted 136… it means 4 pounds lost. I know that every organism is quite different, but considering that I wasn’t making exercise, it is amazing!!! I bought the Empowered Meal Plans [Patricia bought a Personalized Nutrition Program] last Saturday; I am looking forward for the Vegetarian Plan.

    Very soon I will be back to my daily life and for sure I will be following a Fitness Program to get strong, not just lean. It will be the only way to be really healthy and keep those undesired pounds away. Guess what it is that I am doing now: making alterations to my clothes!!!!

    I wanted to share this, especially with those women of my age group. I will turn 52 next week and I am very sure that I will look as I wanted in that beautiful dress for my daughter’s wedding. Sorry if I had some spelling mistakes in my writing; my mother tongue is Spanish.

    can i still get result even though i am 53 years old? i work out at home with free weights and kettel bell and i have been doing e.d.t. by charle standley on mon-wed- and friday and kettel bell cardio on off days and yet still need to trim my waist line , even with a strict diet of just chicken brest, a lot of vegtables and no grain or carbs but try to watch what every thing has in it. i am allgeric to fish and sea food and try to do nothing but clean diet . is it because i am old now? thank you . joey

      Of course you can.

      Dennis MacDonald went from 242 lbs to 173 lbs and now sits at a lean 193 pounds and 12% bodyfat… Dennis is 59 this year.

      Bruce MacDonald is 63 and is ripped under 10% boy fat most of the year. Guys a stud of a grandpa.

      You too can look and feel great.

    Since we’re disscussing the benefits of
    Success Stories – Empowered Nutrition, If you want to bulk up those muscles and increase your protein intake, you can add egg whites to your smoothies. If you are vegan, you can add tofu, soy or brown rice protein powder for a protein-packed power drink.

    Success Stories – Empowered Nutrition, How about opting for charitable invitations that will not only invite our friends and family for the party but would also contribute a little amount for the poor and needy?

      I think this is a novel idea.

      Empowered Nutrition DOES support charitable programs, specifically in the form of water and food programs including shelter and education.
